What if your next ESP routine wasn’t about symbols-but about personality?

Instead of asking your spectator to simply “pick a card,” start a conversation with something they already know:
“What’s your MBTI?”

MBTI Match takes the familiar world of personality types and turns it into a personal, interactive mentalism routine.

A Match That Means Something

Forget the usual ESP symbols.

The cards represent the four MBTI dimensions:

I / E · N / S · F / T · P / J

You and your spectator each make a series of selections. When the cards are revealed, the four letters match.

It’s not just a match of random symbols.

It’s a match of personalities.

The familiar MBTI premise makes the effect easy to introduce, highly conversational, and perfect for close-up and social situations.

A Visual Personality Revelation

The routine continues with a second, highly visual effect.

The included custom EDC accessory can be set to any of the 16 MBTI personality types.

After the personality type has been established, a lighter passes near your hand. Moments later, four burn-like marks appear on your fingers, revealing the exact four letters that were just selected.

And on your thumb, a small heart appears as an unexpected final detail.

A personality type that existed only as four letters a moment ago has now become a visible mark on your hand.

Flexible and Practical

The two effects can be performed together as a complete routine, or separately and combined with your own material.

The MBTI premise also gives you plenty of room for interaction and improvisation.

A perfect match becomes a moment of connection.

A difference can become a joke about your personalities being complementary.

Either way, the conversation keeps moving.

Take Off the Label

There is one final card in the set that doesn’t belong to any personality type: a blank card.

After all the matches and revelations, the blank card provides a simple final message: You are more than a label.

MBTI can be a fun way to describe ourselves, but no combination of four letters can define a person completely.

What You Get
