Symbolic is another great close-up trick that you will carry with you all the time.

The underlying principle of the trick belongs to Karl Fulves.

You show a card which has all the values of playing cards. The spectator thinks of any number and jumps from value to value on the card in any direction he likes, remembering the value he ends up with (say) the King. You remove another card from your pocket with the four suits on it. He repeats the procedure of counting and remembers the suit he ends on (say) Hearts. This would make his selection the King of Hearts. You turn over the cards to show “King of Hearts” written across the back of the laminated cards!

Any number can be selected. Instantly resets itself! No card switching!
